My name is Mary Bartolatto, and I am the owner and founder of Bella Fiori Gardeners.  The mission of BFG is to bring passionate gardeners together in work, education of self and customer, to serve and manage the needs of home owners and businesses managing landscape gardens for the enjoyment of all.

History
I started Bella Fiori in 2000 part time while working as a gardener for a local landscape company.  After realizing the need for gardeners in our community I went to full time operation in 2001 working out of my own garage in Grand Rapids.  Every year since then we have grown and expanded.

I have always had a passion for all plants.  House plants were particularly interesting while I was growing up, and I always loved helping in the rose garden.  My love of gardening has grown over the years with continuous education through courses at Michigan State University (including the Master Gardeners Course), Frederick Meijer Gardens, Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association and many years of hands on experience in the garden.

Based on our customer’s budget we design, install and maintain their gardens.  Perennial (landscape) gardens are our specialty and what we are best known for, but by no means are they the limit of our abilities.  My entire staff of talented gardeners takes delight in their work, and there is no project too big or small.  Our dedicated team is experienced, knowledgeable, reliable and hard working, but most of all we love what we do and take pride in the results.
